Senior Interaction Designer at Opencast
Meet our AiX Conference host for 2027.
Al Robinson is a Senior Interaction Designer at Opencast, with experience designing digital public services across UK government. He has worked across HMRC, DWP and the VOA, helping turn complicated policy, processes and user needs into services that are simple, accessible and easy to use. Al enjoys getting stuck into difficult problems and working with people across different disciplines to figure out how to solve them. He’s particularly interested in inclusive design and prototyping, and more recently, how AI is changing the tools designers use, the way we work and what the role of a designer might look like in the future.
