What is AiX Conference?
AiX is a one-day conference for designers and product teams exploring how AI is changing the workflows and ways of working of designers. It's a day full of practical, insight-led talks, not hype and predictions.
When and where is AiX Conference in 2027?
AiX Conference 2027 takes place on Wednesday 21st April 2027 at The Catalyst in Newcastle upon Tyne. Doors open at 9am and the event is currently planned to run until approximately 5pm. End time is subject to change, agenda-dependant.
What is AiX Conference?

Tickets and registration
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are currently in our Super Early Bird phase at £49. This rises to £79 in the next phase, and £109 at full price. Student tickets are £29.
Can I get my employer to pay for my ticket?
Yes, we've written a ready-made justification letter you can send to your manager to help make the case. You'll find it on our Justification Letter page.
Can I get a refund?
Our full refund policy is set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Are group or team tickets available?
Yes, group tickets are available with a 5% discount on the current ticket price. Email us at hello@aixconf.co.uk to enquire.
How do I update my registration details?
If you need to update any details, drop us an email at hello@aixconf.co.uk.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes. Student tickets are £29, and they won't rise in price for our 2027 event. A limited number of student tickets are available — email students@aixconf.co.uk with valid ID to receive your unique code.
Can I pay by invoice rather than card?
No, we only accept card payment. Once you've booked, our payment provider, Stripe, will send you a confirmation email for your records.
What's included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes access to all talks on the day, early access to the recordings once they're available, free swag and merch, networking opportunities, lunch (with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan choices), USB-C charging during the talks, and plenty of insight to take back to your team.
How do I buy tickets?

We do our best to accommodate a wide range of dietary needs across all meals and snacks, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available. If you have a specific allergy or concern outside of this, please contact us and we'll do our best to support you.
Can I charge my devices during the day?
USB-C charging is available during the talks, so you can keep your devices topped up throughout the day.
Will the talks be recorded? Will I get access?
Yes. All ticket holders get early access to the recordings once they're available.

What should I wear?
There's no formal dress code. Come comfortable, and be yourself. Most attendees go for smart casual.

Yes. Our venue, The Catalyst, is an award-winning building renowned for its highly inclusive, accessible design, having won the Lord Mayor's Design Award for Accessibility. It features fully wheelchair-accessible entrances, elevators to all floors, and navigation features designed to aid visitors with visual impairments. Not at all. AiX is practical and insight-led, focused on real workflows rather than deep technical theory. Whether you're just starting to explore AI or already using it daily, you'll find plenty to take away. If you're confused, there will be a Q&A at the end of each talk, allowing you to ask all of the speakers your questions.
